I've used this site for a few years now so it's about time I posted...
I'm moving from OZ to NYC next week to find work and just finished my folio site. Would be great to get feedback from you guys.Cheers!

I had big problems with my backbutton after sifting through your work... maybe get rid of the # marks in your anchors and use javascript void?
also a bit confused at first at the layout of the page number and of pages with the weblink in between.
I'd go plain: 1/3 and www.thesitename.com

thanks monNom i didn't know about using void instead of #.
Others have commented on the numbers/link being a bit confusing. will probably change it.

honest opinions here...
the site colour (red) is really overpowering to the point that it's making the work look terrible.
i think the way you have framed the work needs a bit more of a polish. you've stuck with a rigid space to display the work and some of the cropping (of the work) is not great.
you've got a good portfolio but it's delivery could be a lot better.

I appreciate the honest opinion.
I had wondered if it was a good approach to "liven up" the layout and if I should save the red for a different medium. Thanks

it's better to put your work against something neutral, like 50% black (gray) and so forth.
i would start over personally, the site seems really dated.

Yeh I'm going to change it to gray. thanks
