Anyone know solid hosting companies that are under or around $10 a month? Don't need a ton of space, just reliable service...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again ...

most people say go with dreamhost, but i've never tried them.
not going to get into another (MT) fight thread, but i'm a sucker and i'll keep using them despite their price hijacking.

1&1 I think are by far the best, they have an excellent web stats facility in your user control panel, very handy!

(.com if your in the US)

I use 1&1for my domain names then use DreamHost for my hosting.
both are really good, even though 1&1 had really big email problems last week!

1and1 have taken more than 48 hours to reply to a support email before.
dreamhost have some anoying control panel features and are useless if you want to give your clients some control over their sites
hostgator hostgator hostgator the free 247 phone support to friendly tech guys that know thier stuff. awesome. i just moved 60 sites to them after being screwed by my uk host xilo.net

i'll keep using them despite their price hijacking.

that migration was an absolute bitch. needless to say i made a few mistakes and a few of my clients lost thier emails along the way... which was a bitch (for them)

* Bump
I sent a client to 1and1 and they've just pulled the plug on her account with no warning whatsoever. It seems there was a complaint from the mailing list (there is a full and functioning opt-out system) and their response has been to shut down the website and ask questions later.I need some good advice with regards to a replacement host. MT seems shocking at the moment, so I was thinking;

or
http://www.hostgator.comSomeone convince me... I need to move quickly.... Thanks.
