they're letting me go because my CSS skills weren't developed enough. but they knew that when they hired me!
before they hired me i couldn't build a site using CSS, now a can. gimme more than a couple months to learn then get off my nuts. (i moved to this new group in October)

seriously, good luck!!!
i know you figure it will be a difficult burden on you to make a move to a city such as NYC or LA, but your taime and plan it out right the first time. try to contact all the Human Resources of all the companies you feel you would like to work with-in, contact them even if they do not have ads out for hire, learn the companies clients and their work eithics and their goals before you rush into an interview.sell yourself as much as you can and try to demand as much upfront salary as you can.
and if you manage to come to NYC for work look me up!!!

make sure to collect unemployment. that's the first thing I would think about and then apply your ass off
- edd-e0
one thing about un-employment, you can still claim your unemployment for up to 1 year. meaning that letsa say you start to freelance and things are looking good for a few months then it goes dry, you can still go back and claim your un-employment from the Ford job and still get that check.
even if you are freelancing you can claim if you do not excede the $400 a weekly earnings.
lots of broken loop holes with un-employment...
but dont fall into that lifestyle, better to keep moving forwards and trying over just wasting away doing nothing.
but yes get the en-employment ball rolling as it takes 3 weeks before any money will come your way.
also the max you can receive is $400 a week.
your target goal for future earnings should become $400 a DAY!!!!
again...good luck!!
