there was a mens short black leather jacket in this years sale in the uk GAP, i really wanted it, but i waited too long for the price to drop and they sold out... did any one buy one in large that they want to sale to me to help pay their post-xmas credit card bills?

Can't help you with the jacket mate.
However I used to work for GAP a few years back, so a bit of advice... Full price, their entire stock is a total rip-off! But literally wait a few weeks, and the prices half and half again! I remember selling a pair of jeans for £4 and t-shirts for £1, seriously! They are nuts!

Gap's got a few good basic items, but it's like they get cool stuff for a few months and then it's like "Who the fuck did the buying for this season?" They had like pink cowboy shirts with snaps and shit for men..WTF? No Gap dudes...sell jeans and tshirts and simple oxford button downs. Period. ...you are not fashion forward and stop already with the skate-punk graphic tees. You are not Pacsun or whatever..you are the fucking boring yet functional Gap..and stop fucking with the cut of your jeans every three months...

Oh, and as for that whole GapRed shit...nice try but I am not spending $200 for a pair of fucking ripped jeans from the Gap with a dangly deconstructed red tag because Bono said it will feed Aids babies in Africa or whatever..that shit sucks. Their t-shirts are very good quality, and cheap. But their jeans are really shit quality, they fall apart if you go out in the rain! Trust me used to sell em!

I'm always trying to find a pair of jeans I like..and I refuse to spend fucking Diesel prices on jeans..I used to like the Gap and then they got all weird...I tried American Eagle, but I swear the jeans fell apart on me in three days..just shredded apart..
I buy whatever's on sale at skate shops now..

Diesel and Levi's and by far the best quality for denim... depending on which wash/fabric you go for. The thicker/tougher denim from Diesel wears well
