The funny thing about global warming is that they used to make wine in the UK but now its too cold. So much for Global warming/cooling.

mrdobolina still hasn't adequately explained to me why he acts like he's principled about these environmental issues when he thinks we are all just molecules in motion and when we're dead we're dead. I mean, it's not like he's going to see any benefit from protecting the environment in his lifetime, so that can't be why. And certainly he doesn't care about what happens to other people (who will eventually pass into nothingness too) after he's gone.
It must be one of two things:
1. He really doesn't believe that when we are dead we're gone, or...
2. He just gets a kick out of arguing a position.
To each his own, I spose.

An alternative to believing that you're just molecules in motion and here by accident, would be perhaps considering that the earth has some biological destiny and that even though your physical being ceases to exist, your consciousness might not.

What the fuck is wrong with being a bunch of molecules in motion? Does that idea somehow negate meaning I create in my life, or the love I feel for my family, friends and fellow man?
I am currently enjoying being a bunch of molecules in motion with my own saucy little individual take on the grand scheme of the universe that's around me. Sure, it's a temporary state for these molecules in question, but I'm giving them a hell of a ride...
And on the plus side, the molecules don't talk to me and tell me to kill other bunches of human shaped molecules just because they say so...
