Do any of you work in the viacom building at 1515 broadway in nyc? Just started working as an on-site freelancer for mtv networks. Not much to do yet...so just messing around on the internet. just curious if any of you work here too.

What floor are you on? My boy works on 10 in MTV on air design. He's like senior director design/animator or some shizzle. Unless they moved that dept which they are notorious for doing.

My work always comes in waves. Lots of rest time, but when I get work I get it by the boat-load.

I was up on 34th floor not too long ago working with the Digital Music Group. Things started slow but pickup really fast. Walk to 9th Avenue for good eats (Paloma for Mexican, Yum Yum for Thai).

I don't want to give his full name, but I know he was looking to hire some people as of last week. I don't know exactly what division.

I am on the 30th floor in creative services. Monday was my first day, Since then I haven't had anything to do. Also, I am sick, so the days have been really slow for me. Other than that it's cool. Looking forward to some work though :)

I'm on 21st floor. It gets really busy, then dies down. That's the nature of the beast here... feast of famine...
It's been dead since like, the beginning of December -- starting to pick up though, so you'll be OK soon. Hang in there

From what i've heard, if you're on the bottom rung of the ladder, no.
They pay freelancers well, depending on your experience, but I guess that's like everywhere else.
