Firefox Question

Everytime I restart firefox, it goes back to the standard settings and it deletes all my bookmarks (I've got a backup, thankfully)
so i installed ff 2.0, still the same problem
any help?

Untick the 'Always clear my private data when I close Firefox' option in the Privacy prefs pane?

Hmmm... have a mooch about in the prefs then.
I'm using BonEcho at the mo – it's an open source version done by a 3rd party (I think). You can get a version that's optimised for either PowerPC or Intel Macs should should be faster in theory.
This is the bit where you tell me your on PC... ;)

did you uninstall your initial version of Firefox before you installed 2.0? if not, find the least damaging route (ie, back up bookmarks, y other info)
