Digipak cd layout - cover and inside or back...haven't really decided yet. It's for a cd single for promo purposes.

i like it a lot. i like the cropped image on the cd itself the most, mysterious and appealing.

is that the moon or the stars? doesnt look like a moon if it is...plus if it's a sun the stars shouldnt be there...i dont know if youre concerned about that or not, but i noticed it.
that mountain looks weird to me. like melty ice cream.
dig the colors though, i like how simple it is.

dne - it's the sunset. I dunno about anywhere else - but when the sun sets late in teh winter here you can already see the stars up in the sky

what sort of music?
It's quite nice on screen, but I can't really imagine it as a CD - especially if it's for your band (you're quite rocky, right?)
At the very least, it needs texture, grunge or dirt or something - overlaid over a scan of quite a coarse paper - otherwise, realised, I think it might be quite bland and ineffectual.

what's the dealio with your stars, Nic? they look like thy're trying to say something, but I can't see what. Are they a constellation? Are they a dot to dot? If not - why do they only occupy that wee space?

a promo piece right? so a somewhat limited run?
the cd should be all yellow with the text on the bottom.
the back, beneath the cd would have the sky and stars.
the cover should be clear/transparency with the mountains printed at the bottom so the sun cd shows through the front with the mountains hiding the text on the sun until you open it

And Nairn - I like the idea of a constellation. they weren't really doing anything before - just kinda hangin out and being starz...

the words namby pamby spring to mind, but I think it can be saved, to be honest, it's the copy/words/lyrics whatever they are that do it, just seems a bit soppy and esoterically whiny, but in a way that makes me not care that you are a hobbit with this big journey, and this evil thing you must dispose of.
