do you mean what happened in the movie?
or to the movie?

i just bought it last weekend. never saw it. i'm halfway through now. i dig it.
- Nairn0
It wasn't a good movie.

i don't see the point in filming the movie only to recreate it as an animation.
waste of time and resources. if i'm going to watch an animation i'd like to think the artist put some imagination into creating the look of the characters instead of using a direct reference.
- version30
are you kidding _sal_?
what about every illustrator that starts from a photo?
or the realist painting movement?
why paint it to look just like it was?
you are seriously questioning an artists visual delivery?
whatever.
- version30
and nairm, you've got mail

book was awesome. I just added the movie to my netflix. Could go either way- I kinda hate Reeves.

waking life had a lot more stylized animation, lots of different people working on it.
also, i think rotoscoping was appropriate for this movie.
- clearThoughts0
I found it extremely boring.
Couldnt finish watching it..I liked waking life better.
A release of the actual footage without the animation on top would b interesting.
It looks like you have to b on Acid to get into the animation movements.
Maybe thats why I didnt enjoyed it as much.
- emokid0
my dvd came with free acid. seems like you got a bad deal.
- clearThoughts0
right. so that was the US release probably

someone has to stop Keanu from hijacking all the good sci-fi from the 20th century and making himself the star of all of them...
