What’s the best PC program for cataloging photos?
I'm going to be shooting hundreds of products and want a program that will make the process as easy as possible. I don’t want to save to a card and refer to them once I’m done. I’ve been to a shoot before where the photographer would shoot then refer to the photo on screen, make adjustments then save...
Any advice would be appreciated.

nice site. but the product is a bit more robust than what i need.
All i want is an app that can let me view/edit/save images as I shoot.
I guess I could just use photoshop. I was hoping there was something specifically designed for photographers while shooting...

sounds like you're talking about Aperture... but that's Mac only. I don't know if you're willing to switch, but every photographer I know uses Macs

Adobe Lightroom

currently in beta but it is meant to be Adobe's answer to Aperture. Not bad, I've used it but it was way more than I needed.
You can also try Google's Picasa.
