to be fair, why should the money go to charity? it's just a different way of selling advertising space (minus your company logo).
it's just a bit gimmicky cos Mother have the wand of editorial control so we should all be thankful and yearn for their 'seal of approval'.
dependant on how many people fall for it, it'll be cheaper than buying ad space still.

The money should go to charity because if the limitations are 'NO COMPANY LOGOS, NO ADVERTS' it's not another way of selling advertising space because of these restrictions.
It's a gimmick which is what Mother are good at but not this time.
