I've been seriously contemplating quitting my job and moving to NYC to pursue stand-up/comedy writing.
...
Weird thing is I love my job. I just didn't see myself working in the corporate world ever, and I feel if I don't leave soon I'm going to be in here for life.
I keep getting promotions and groomed for a life I don't think I ever wanted. :X

flav, take the money, take the notoriety, take the experience, take the 401k and do something with yourself in a few years once they have taught and funded you
hows that incorporation coming?

there's always heroin...
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday night. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?

piperboytoyno worries pal. good luck with whatever you decide! One more thing I did to numb the pain of boring work (no, not drugs), was taking on a personal design project, which i enjoyed doing, no money, but passed the time by better!

oh yes, room5 has the ticket, my absolute win win way to clear the design and creative blues is to collaborate with other designers.
search them out and just ask, you may find new juices spewing out all over you [pun intented]
:)

i do a lot of art projects on my own and help friends do design work too. so i'm happy sometimes.

v4, the incorporation is coming along, haha.
Yea, I mean it would kind of be stupid to walk away, maybe I'll just try and get fired.
I'm fully vested in 401K, however, since I always think I'm going to be dead soon I've invested nothing but like whatever they put in, haha.
