Is there a name for the rendering technique used to make objects or rooms look like this?

I'm trying to do a search for stock images of random objects and shit, but not having much luck using the search term "white 3d objects"

You might try untextured, Blinn texture, or unshaded. Or even monotone.

Fake?

try radiosity and 'global illumination'

Thank you.

That's probably global illumination, but I think the look you're talking about is Ambient Occlusion, where shadows are calculated according to distance.

It is done with either Global Illumination or Final Gather - the general term is a 'clay' render.

I'd go with ambient occlusion, with global illumination as close second. Good luck!

Can't help you there, but if you ever need 3D Sperm, give me a holla!

its not ambient occlusion because there are strong shadows cast from the window. its just GI with a white shader.
