Anyone know what the net salary would be (aproximatly) in California for a 70k gross salary yearly?

around 75-80% of that 70k gross i would imagine.

depends how much you contribute to 401k, IRA and stuff.

in L.A. in that tax bracket, you take home 67%, or around 50k. (Thats assuming no 401k, and average med/dental deductions, no dependents)

unlesssssss you put EXEMPT on that line on the w-2 and collect everything pay your taxes later.
