the left crown one is interesting. seems familar though.

#1 strikes the best balance, imo
#2 seems less homeware
#3 features bargain-basement edges, though i quite like the font choice

I like the left one though perhaps it reminds me of the Best Western logo, middle one reminds me of urban outfitters. The one on right looks very fiftys and reminds me of a vacum cleaner brand. I say play with the one on the left

#3 looks like the branding for a vintage British-made stockings brand from the 50s.

^ what my mortal enemy and nemesis, kidswift, said.

#1, lose the dot, or come with a more unique shape.

the crown looks derivative, but so does the type in the middle one.
i agree, mess about with the version on the left and try and steer it away from whatever that is it's veering toward.

(Nov 28 06, 07:44)ha! i know, i'm sorry. i'm shit with describing when something reminds me of something else. but the crown plus the dot on that one on the left reminds me of maybe old navy circa 2000? maybe you have to be american to see that...

this looks like nothing original. are they selling items that other stores make?
where's the story? how are they unique?
you can't solve an identity problem with a crown.

i get the double entendre with the crown and the word decorum, perhaps silhouette it against a wingback chair? it needs something to tie it together.

(Nov 28 06, 07:45)Do they look really generic?
:'(
Fair play to kidswift for the 'Urban Outfitters' call.
*isolates self form society for indefinate period on time.

if john's concept link is valid then do it in a more original fashion.

I think the type in the first one better suits the crown. The circle seems out of place considering both the type and mark are handmade, did you try a hand drawn circle? Also try making whatever shape you decide upon a bit bigger it seems to be choking the type.

Whats the deal with the company Concrete? Are they a start up? Or have they been around for a while if so whats there url and there target market where are they coming from? What part of the market are they trying to capture young hipsters in apartments or peeps with kids out in the burbs?
- mr_snuggles0
nothing wrong with it looking generic mate, nor am I critisizing it, chances are the store isn't anything original, why bother making them seem unique when they're not... if the people who shop there like drips, crowns, deer and handrawn type, roll it out broodje...

(Nov 28 06, 07:55)Can you expand on 'more original?'
And the link is loosely valid, yes.
