My coworker just told us the following story:
Last week, a friend of hers was watching a house for another friend, taking care of her dog.
While the friend was out of town, the dog died, and the housesitter got really worried. She called the vet, kind of hysterical and worried, and the vet said to bring the dog in. She didn't have a car or money for a cab...
...so she put the dog (breed not known, but it was a big dog) in a suitcase and went to take the subway to the vet! Riding along all over town with a dead dog in a suitcase unbeknownst to all around her.
When she got off, she was trying to pull it down the stairs when a man offered to help her carry it.
He said something like, "Wow, this is heavy, what do you have in here?"
She said, "Oh, just my laptop and computer stuff from work."
AND THEN THE MAN PUNCHED HER IN THE STOMACH AND TOOK OFF WITH THE SUITCASE!!!!!
In the end she had to tell the dog's owner EVERYTHING that happened. When my coworker just told us this story I nearly threw up I was laughing so hard. :D :D
Imagine the surprise to that thief when he opens a suitcase full of "laptop and computer parts" to find an f'ing dead dog!!!!!!!!
