Something tells me Mr. Crouch is going to have a shit smeared face after this one's done.

He's right.
However, he failed to mention the lack of father figures. Most don't know their fathers or don't want to know them.
Hey but let's glorify ghetto life.

i dont think a father figure is anything when youre admiring rappers and the like as mr. couch so elequently states.
there was an article in TIME a few months back describing how people are the way they are not because of their parents, but by learning from their peers/siblings.

" That simpleminded sense of rebelling against authority descended even further when hip hop fell upon us from the bottom of the cultural slop bucket in which punk rock curdled."
What the fuck is this dude talking about? Yeah, Snoop always cites the Ramones as an influence..yeah, uh-huh..

stanley crouch is as full of shit as he is correct, always.

Oh, he's one of those Wynton Marsilis type dudes. He's associated with Jazz at the Lincoln Center it says there in his bio. You know, Jazz music, all respectable and shit..let's just push all the heroin and coke junkies and criminal arrests that litter jazz history under the carpet then...idiot. Miles Davis woulda stomped his ass...

haha, he got like rubber lips!!
lol

Then he's crazy, because statistically, a substantial amount of African-American children grow up without fathers and/or father figures in their homes. Those kids (especially males) grow up to reciprocate this precedent. The father's importance within the home as not just a parent, but more as a mentor, role-model, and co-provider of the positive emotional and behavioral stability of children is vital.

what?
black or white, half the kids I see walking around today look like k-fed. They're almost 30 and they dress like toddlers, with oversized sports gear playing video games 10 hours a day.
maybe a draft isn't such a bad idea or at least mandatory boot camp, it'll get these idiots off the street, teach them some responsibility and maybe learn a trade.

I don't have a father and I think mpfree can verify for everyone I am the most immature person in the entire planet.
Let's break it down.
1.) I hate responsibility. (THE ONLY EXAMPLE I HAVE IS A FATHER WHO WENT TO THE GROSSERY STORE AND NEVER CAME BACK!!)
2.) I hate authority. (NO ONE TELLS ME WHAT TO DO EXCEPT MY FATHER ... WHERE ARE YOU PAPA?!)
3.) In every situation I am in, I want to make people laugh no matter the cost. (SOMEBODY LOVE ME AND ACCEPT ME FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY!! THERE IS SUCH A VOID IN MY CHEST WHERE A HEART SHOULD BE!!!)heeheheh.
