Then he's crazy, because statistically, a substantial amount of African-American children grow up without fathers and/or father figures in their homes. Those kids (especially males) grow up to reciprocate this precedent. The father's importance within the home as not just a parent, but more as a mentor, role-model, and co-provider of the positive emotional and behavioral stability of children is vital.
