they remind me of the alero for some reason...and the wheels look too tiny for it...

Why would you want a little kids car. i mean if your trying to attract highschool girls then yea get the scion tc.
- danoob0
thats funny that you have actually taken the scion marketing plan to heart. A car is a car man...and i think it looks pretty sharp. and spongy steering? every review i red said nice tight steering.

I loved the Scion TC, I was set on buying one... nothing could sway my opinion I thought. I rolled up to the dealer with a down payment in my wallet but I decided to test drive one first because I wanted to atleast act semi-sane when buying my first car on my own.
I'm glad I did... the one I test drove was one of the more expensive models (20k I think). The acceleration was not as good as my 98 Cavalier Z24 and the steering is very spongey, like it's connected to a rubberband. I took an offramp off the highway going about 75 (something I did in the Cavalier regularly) and I had to fight to keep the thing on the road, it was scary actually.
I instead bought a used Jetta 1.8Turbo at the recommendation on the Scion sales chick when I complained about the steering. Love it.

haha thats funny ..i'm actually thinking of replacing my red jetta 1.8T with the scion....to each his own i guess. My buddy has one and said its one of the nicer rides he's ever been in. The engine, i guess is based off a suped up camry and has a ridiculously reliable and innovative body stucture.

haha ... what year may I ask (mines a 2002)? I love this car but keeping the engine running properly is a bitch, I'm off to the shop in about 40 minutes actually :|

mine's a 2000:) Between the emmisions light going on and off and the 200,000 miles, i figured it was time to move on :P
