so if voting for the dems is like voting for terror, does working with them bipartisan mean your working with terrorists

So what's the plan then?
Now the democrats have control are they going to do anything worthwile with it?
More fighting and accusations?
Sounds like fun.
How about Iraq? How about some actual plans? I just hope they stop moaning and get something done.
Obviously this election was a mandate on the war. They better work together and do something, else the "majority" status is likely to last about 2 years.

i agree that dems need to come up with a plan. But I dont think it can be fixed so fast. The amount of damage that Bush administration has done is going to take a long time to undo. he completely fucked up the world.

"I come from teachers. My great, great grandfather Christopher Bayh came to Indiana with a yellow tag in his overalls that said, railroad. Because he couldn't speak any English, that's where he went to work. But his first grandson became a teacher and he married a teacher, my grandmother. No one here tonight would have traveled half as far if it weren't for our teachers. They're the real American heroes."

There's some concern that Democrats, who have a reputation for being more protective of U.S. jobs going overseas, will make it harder to achieve a global free trade accord. And in China, some feared the resurgence of the Democrats would increase tension over human rights and trade and labor issues. China's surging economy has a massive trade surplus with the United States.
"The Democratic Party ... will protect the interests of small and medium American enterprises and labor and that could produce an impact on China-U.S. trade relations," Zhang Guoqing of the state-run Chinese Academy of Social Sciences said in a report on Sina.com, one of China's most popular Internet portals.
The prospect of a sudden change in American foreign policy could also be troubling to U.S. allies such as Britain, Japan and Australia, which have thrown their support behind the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
