Is there a program out there that will create vector sine waves?

Illustrator?!
Make line, add points, add points, add points, add points.
Select alternate points, shift up. Select alternate alternate points, shift down.
Or am I missing something?

oops. You'll then need to pull out the splines to make each point curved - which is why you'll have done all that aligned to a grid to make that easier, naturally.

I was hoping for something more auto generated so I could mess with the math.
Mac used to come with a really nice graphing calculator.

you can create one with flash, take a screen shot and whalaalalala

In that case, if you're confident enough with the math and a wee bit of programming, you might want to check out http://scriptographer.com/ .

Add points to a line in illustrator and then use the ZigZag filter with smooth curves set. I think.

nice one, caseyc - that works a treat!
