stop eating fish won't be a solution for this. why reach to a conclusion so quickly and make it sound all black and white?
first of all, there's a lot we don't know about marine biology. we need to study their behavioral science more to really understand what's going on. also, we can start increasing the production of fish farm, etc. I am sure there are many ways to deal with this.

except when my dad makes fish, because it tastes SO GOOD. but when everyone else makes it, it sucks. so I don't eat it very often.

it's amazing how how all these things from 10/20 years ago - greenpeace, the hole in the atmosphere, disappearing oil reserves - is becoming more and more tangible.

Fish Rock. Nice piece of red emporer pan fried in lemon and chilli then dumped on a bed of grilled onion, mushrooms and asparagus and then a sweet potato mash... mmmmm might make that tonight.
People dont like seafood becuase they hate fish bones, watery fillets with no flavour and stinky fish market smells but when seafood is done properly, not much comes close!

couldn't agree more concrete. And not only is this about little out of sight out of mind fishes a'swimmin in the sea, but its about people and entire economic systems as well as ecological - perhaps if there was as much bickering mileage in it as slagging people off for driving SUVs folk on here would give more of a fuck.

I hear cutting suv tyres is pretty common in Paris. Dumb if you ask me. As if billion other petrol powered cars suddenly were environmentally friendly at all.
It is probably good to raise awareness, start to promote farmed fish and all, but..
It's just one of the first environmentalist message on this and I haven't seen any follow-up reports or studies what could be done.
We don't even know what behaviours to promote so let's hold on for a minute before we start blowing up fishing vessels.
