it was good as in i laugh... some of the best parts are on the trailer... but there is a couple of parts that you cant miss in the movie... if you ask me and you have a fucked up sense of humor which is offensive in every way possible... def go see it

Does anyone notice the charater has changed. He used to be more nervous and awkward.
On his press tour he is hyper and he doesn't look the Borat of old. Stache and hair are different and he's less believable. Plus the jokes everywhere on Stern, O & A AND LETTERMEN are the same.
Still I'll see the movie.

I noticed that too, I loved Borat from the Ali G show, but couldn't stand watching him on Jay Leno, Letterman... The Ali G movie sucked, hopefully this one is better...

I know what you mean.
Been watching all the press stuff, reading every article, and I'm actually bored of hearing about:
Pubis exports
Gypsies
Locking women in cages
Prostitute sisters
Jew anything
fermented horse urine wine
retarded brother
homosexuals and blue hats
assholes uzbekistan
etc.

Took an extended lunch and saw it. Everyone in the audience was laughing their asses off. Very funny in a sick and twisted way.
Ahhh Very nice!

I saw it about a month ago and really liked it...def one of the funniest movies I've seen.
As for Borat being different on talk shows, I see it...not sure exactly what's off, but something.
As for the same material, you gotta understand that most Americans don't get HBO and have no clue or interest in Borat. So he's playing this character and reintroducing himself over and over on each show. I've seen most of the press stuff, and I admit I'm a bit bored by it, but he still mixes it up a bit for each show (Conan with his red pubis).
Think about it this way...when an actor goes on a slew of talk shows to promote his or her movie, it's the same exact thing over and over (see Vin Diesel video from a few months back). At least he mixes it up a bit.
Anyway, go see the movie. You won't be disappointed.
I give it 2 jews up. High five!

i'm kinda torn because you better believe i was like all ready to see borat but at the same time ready to be let down because of all the youtube-ness and hype. I think the real humor was in how the actual nation of kaziestan sent out a news brief on the film and borat says its a lie and a jew is behind it all. I know you all know this already but it's funny to see people believe borat.
I saw the film and I laughed but I wasn't uber impressed by it but I was IMPRESSED by the parents sitting in front of me with their 4yr old daughter and 8 year old son...and they finally left after the whole gay wrestling scene...amazing parenting...
carrry on.
