I heard my museumkaart isn't vaild on museumnacht, so I doubt I'll bother going... unless you know of something in particular that would be worth checking out?

but here's the 411:BG/Club 11 (you know at the stedelijk museum) BG does artbeatnow Curator Zedz works from Boris Hoppek amongst others.
Don't know what Club 11 does but your entreecard (5 euro) is valid for both. I haven't decide if I am going to buy a entree upfront (must go to the bitterzoet first)Been to BG last year with musemnacht and it was fun.

ha, yeah I was at the Stedelijk last year for museumnacht, was a fun night, the artwork sucked, but it was a good party...
I'll be at bitterzoet tonight for Struttin'. Anything special there tomorrow night?

For me, last year was the first time I saw the BG space. Impressive space.
2morrow, a graduation party with Dj's Aardvark, mr wix, pappa and sems. Should be fun (don't know the afgestudeerden, friends of friends)

How does this even work in black and white or at small sizes? Do people even regard these things anymore?

it would look great to see it printed in huge dimensions.
i like it, it's fresh and can rely on many interpretations. the victory boogie woogie is in there, the outlines of the hague, sea, dunes and protection. when you rotate it it is indeed a kite.
this reminds me also of the spanish cultural phenomenon of painted logo's, with just a few strokes of the brush.
and do not expect anything else from corbijn as this is the way he works. blame the hague council for hiring anton if you don't like it.
