Can anyone recommend the BEST all round monitor to buy for motion graphics, 3D and photography work.
Please NO Apple Displays as I'm on my 5th 30 inch monitor, which is final being sent back on Monday.
I have been considering an Eizo ColorEdge CE240W

5th? is it that bad?

Got the CE240w about 2 months ago. Had been eyeing it for months before that. Works great.
I'm sure you red a whole lot of reviews of it so far. None of them seem to mention how low it stands on the table. That's my only beef. Tiny beef.

Dell UltraSharp 24" WS or anything in the Samsung 'T' series. Those are their best panels.

What's up with your Apple displays if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the recommendations..
The first monitor 30 inch Apple display I had started to have horizontal white lines flashing across the screen. I then returned the display to an Apple dealer because it's their policy not to exchange the unit with a new model. Long story short, they gave me 4 service parts over a month, all units didn't work, I spent £120 pounds on taxis and only then would they give me a NEW replacement. This replacement has now started to fail. So I've had enough. Never again. £1700 in the toilet is you ask me.

Yeah I heard the Dell's were good, and great value. Don't go below 24 though.

I got the Dell 24" a few days ago. I absolutely love it!

This thing, though expensive, is supposed to be the cat's ass:

or, if you can't handle that sort of wallet busting figure, the other monitors in the range are quality aswell. (lacie rebadges them as the 321 & 319)
I think they're releasing 24" & 26" versions in November.
