Any really funny or well designed skate companies you have seen lately

I wish I still had my VCR so I could watch my old Evol and 411VM skate tapes... damn they were so cool...
I haven't had a look at much new skateboarding stuff recently, except for a pair of Nike SB Abbingtons. They are sick.

I have like 50 old skate videos that I am going to buy a VCR for, i need to relive my skating days, I also want to make my own skateboards

depends how you define funny...
I find enjoi to be quite funny sometimes but sometimes they just try too hard. I like the Gonz and his craziness so I guess Krooked could be considered 'funny'
as for design... google "Rasa Libre". I'm glad they are making a comeback.
also, as played out as they are, I do like a lot of the designs that Zoo York put out.
Skateboarding is borderline snowboarding at the moment. i guess true heads will always keep it real...

I don't keep up with the new companies anymore, but i have always enjoyed toy machine/ ed templeton's work.

I enjoy Ed's work too but i wouldn't call it progressive. It's Ed's style (and the occasional Donny Miller and special guest) and that's that...
Stugoo, i wasn't the biggest fan of those links too. Element just bite everyone elses style...

i dunno how Emerica rates on the cool stakes, but I dont mind their site design...
