you can get them all over the place now, if you know the right people, but i believe that the deep-fried mars bar is originally of glaswegian provenance. perhaps kelpie can enlighten us when he returns.

I thought the deep-frying thing came fom Newcastle (UK).
I don't think that there would be any problems with having a Polish name here either. Ireland is one of only 3 countries (the others being the UK and Sweden) in the EU that has no restrictions on Polish immigrants. Hence the Polish are now the largest minority group in the country numbering somewhere between 60000 and 100000.
