Well it has it uses. But much like music - I'd rather see a "MySpace" or a "youtube" premium edition whereby some respected critics filter out the crap. Because lets face it - all it has right now is the dregs.
A creative free-for-all is a pipe dream.

I'd rather read the fucking toilet wall at Darlington mainline.

23Kon:
It would be near impossible to get the f unding to start a project from just a business plan. Even if it was a groundbreaking idea any potential investor would demand a very high percentage of the company (as it would be an unproven high risk investment 98% of which end in tragedy) before dishing out any cash. The best way and possibly the only way (save rich relatives or angel investment) would be to realise the business with your own hard work and capital to create a working version before negotiating any investment. But as you may know you're looking at an outlay of at the very least 100k to get a project of any scope and technical ability off the ground not to mention funds keeping the project fed and watered while you negotiate the well traversed and chummy business school rivers of investment capital.

Moth, you need to take a holiday or something. You hate everything and seemingly have no love in your life or even childlike wonder or enchantment with the less perfect aspects of the world around. Jaded viewpoints and cynicism are poor bedfellows to creative enterprise.

Oh I don't think so - mainlining smack in Darlington train station for 3 to 4 weeks at a time provides all the creativity I need.

when we first looked at the idea a year ago we ralised that it'd take a lot of work on our behalfs to get the ide up and running to a decent size. this would be at a risk as we'd have to have dedicated ourselves fulltime to it - so would have to have given up our fulltime jobs.however, recently we've been pissing about with something that may allow an easier solution with a lot less man-hours of involvement. so think we're gonna talk about giving it a go.

Remember Google Video? I wonder if Google is still going to have their own video thing if they have acquired Youtube. Doesn't seem to be a need for it anymore, but maybe they'll transfer the videos. Hmmm...Youtube was probably a lot more popular than Google Video too. I wonder when Youtube started...after Google Video?

I predict Google getting a wiki or dictionary soon.

I predict Google will employ a moth for motivational classes.

Good luck, 23 ;)

Haha, he is the fucking man.

Exactly, 23. A lot of the posters there are going crazy over this deal, but most people would go for this deal, whether they'd like to admit it or not.

- Jaline0
Do you mean half of half, moth? Because each guy got half the amount. Or do you mean the full amount of what one guy got?
