I've found that's the best way to get people to help.
Ask for something that inherently doesn't make much sense (to me at least), and then when someone does help you.
Tell them it's not what you were looking for, and that NT as a whole is "slippin."

I use Blinksale and really dig it.

look up excel invoice customize it and make a pdf out of it. email the pdf.

i made a templet in Illustrator and just PDF it and send it out....

just go to MS and download their addition templates for MS Word. It has an Invoice template. Then fix it up and make it look nice. done.

oh and like mentioned above. Once you've updated template for a specific job just export out as a PDF and email it to the client. That's what I do..
