Sadly, I'm not really into football and neither is my French friend who I was traipsing around with yesterday, so when we found out, neither of us were particularily bothered.
My English housemates wouldn't shut up about it however - fickle Sun reading morons that they are - they've spent the rest of the last x years of my life making snide comments about Scottish football (understandable, I guess - but *I don't like football, so what's the point of rubbing my nose in it??* [I'm not bitter, or anything, see?]).
If it'd been anyone but the French (or Germans, maybe) I'm not sure what they'd've said.
