Thanks guys. My dad is so gifted at what he does, it would be a travesty to see him take some crap job just to make ends meet.
I have to keep thoughts to myself about this stuff, they're still working out his severance package.
Most people in the church fully support him, but the minority has been very vocal and very spiteful. A lot of it is because some people think a church should be run like a business, and my pop is in shapr disagreement w/ that notion. So, since they didn't have a good reason to get rid of him, they've been making up stuff.
Very sad indeed. Glad at least that I could be close to them right now instead of back on the other side of the country.
