ofcourse you should charge them. they will finally have to return those carts and bottles etc for a deposit. the world will get cleaner all along!

you are a very cool lady, vespa.
good luck in the hooscow next week, too. don't take any new fans home with you.

why thank you blaw. and no we won't. we were worried about setting ourselves up for stalkers but have been told that the gig is for prisoners on good behaviour and we'll be treated with the utmost respect.
also, it's been organised by a very interesting guy, he used to be in the national front but then some shit happened that made him realise how shit it was and he ended up going undercover to help the police infiltrate the NF. so the theme is about enabling people who fuck up to change.

also: i've just spoken to someone from Refuge, the women's shelter, and they are totally up for it, she's sending me some info now... hooray!

we do a lot of work for Look Ahead Housing and Care a charity who house and also provide help for people with mental illness. The key issue I have found is that if you're gonna start a scheme or campaign/project to raise money it must gain momentum and have a regular source of steady cash. The live8 concerts were great, but you'd need at least one a month of those gigs to regularly maintain a stream of money to do any real help. The national lottery is quite good with getting a steady cash flow but other charities don't have this steady injection of cash. the government in Sweden has the right attitude towards their homeless and prioritise it where here in the UK, it's up to the various charities to pick up the slack.

my good friend in copenhagen, told me yesterday that he just quit his good and well paid job. instead he is gonna open up a sup kitchen for drugheads and homeless.
We need more people like him.
