my client wants this thing where it's a letter size print with business card size tear offs (maybe padded) groups of coupon things. dumb idea i know, but where could i get this shit even printed without piecing it together myself?

do your design and specify a line for the printer to do perforated cutting. if you only want the one, you can buy perforated cutting tools from your local art shop.

use avery's nonperforated business cards? :
you might hafta stick with their proprietary software tho.... pretty decent for the money....

i dont think i described it well enough. imagine like a glossy letter size mounted on foam core and two padded groups of business cards glued on top of the board so people can tear a 'coupon' off.
so imagine the cheesey displays at any store youve been to with something similar. im trying to convince this guy of doing something else.

If its a small run you should have the letter size backing pages printed separate from the tear off pads. Assemble them yourself. Mount the backing artwork onto foam board so it doesnt cave to the pressure of the tear off pad.
I would go with a sticky peel off type pad, not a perforated one.
inkchaser.com prints them, im sure other places do as well.
