To me it looks like advetisers are looking for more targeted/measureable ways to engage viewers, the mass marketing mentality is becoming dogma. To a degree you can see a change in TV broadcasting already. Been a long time coming really.

We're sick of people who suck slaggin off a whole industry that is just too competitive for their nowhere asses.
Get it tight or get out. But don't hang around embarrassing yourself 'cause you can't cut it.

whatever the title, be sure to start as soon as you can to get it out of the way. The worst thing that can happen is that you leave it too late. These things take more time than you think.

my dissertation in 2004 was:
"Pushing the Boundaries!
Interactive Net.art"I explored the rapid expansion of Interactive Net.art in its short life and how it is socially placed in the art world.
It investigatd the intersections of art, science and technology, how they have merged and boundaries have become blurred, etc. and the shift of the display of work from the traditional galleries to the screen at home.
I loved it and got to meet Lev Manovich and Josh Davis during my investigations.
I also got feedback on a few points from NT
