Hi all,
I have a movie file that I will be incorporating into a site. The file size is currently 16MB.
The dimensions of the movie are bigger than they need to be and the file is currently an avi file. Just wondering what the best option might be to get this on the web?
I quickly tried it using flash, got the file down to 1.1MB, just not sure how I should have it running, i.e. stream it, import it etc.
Pretty new to movies on the web, maybe someone can help me out.

i don't know how to make it streaming. but I can at least tell you what I really don't like. it really bothers me when I go to a site that has the file automatically downloading to my machine using my precious bandwidth. i prefer a link to the movie file itself. that allows me a little control at least.

Me too, gotta give the client what they want though, I am going to not have the movie start automatically, if it kills me.
