Wow. SO awesome I don't even know where to start. Has probably the best fight scene in it that I have ever scene. There are many fights - but the one where he fights the rival master in the restaurant is just...stunning. Yuen Wo-ping has outdone himself this time with the martial arts choreography.
The message too...the history of it...was brilliant.
I'm really bummed this is Li's last martial arts flick...but man what a way to go!!
If you're interested have a read about the man he played, Huo Yan Jia:

not to take anything away from Jet Li's thread but i am just blown away by Tony Jaa... far more explosive mix of acrobatics

i mean seriously that is just ridiculous.

far too much unecessary wire work which looked a little rushed at times. Hardly YWP's best work, check out his old school flicks which are much more technically better. Did you laugh when his childhood opponent fell off the podium with serious internal injuries on top of that awful drop only to pick himself up like Wile E Coyote and stumble off? Most of the fight scenes in Fearless were edited at a faster frame rate than normal. The UK release cut out the development scenes when he first investigates the now famous Huo Fist style, did the US version show the fight scenes in the village?

yeah.. love Hong Kong movies - dont really care about the wire action, as long as it looks good - Even the Main Man are using wires now, Jackie Chan - 50 is no age in China..

it was OK, but didn't do nearly as much for me as Fist of Legend or O.U.A.T.I.C.
Jet should never have followed the green paper trail to the states imo. not that you could blame him

yea rocked but i didnt like the end, a bit timid :/

mosdef his best film overall. action can get too repetative and i get desensitized. the film seemed to incorporate more than just fisticuffs. it is the only film (i think) that I have seen of jet li. but good to watch (saw a version from china with better than average subs.)
was he also in Hero?

(Sep 24 06, 21:48)PLEASE! in terms of acting, accurate storyline, production and choreography, Fearless eats Tai Chi master for breakfast and pisses all over it.

your vast knowledge of kungfu movies is very impressive like a red dragon in the moon-lit forest wind.

"did the US version show the fight scenes in the village?"
Yep.

I liked it alot, the last scene was a bit overdone and not needed IMO

and seeing the movie answers why jet li is done w/ fighting movies... other than just being tired of them.
