i just bought a uused MAC and the safari asks me for a password....anyway to get by this.
I just keep hitting cancel and keep using it, but its annoying. Like me asking this silly question. :-)
I already tried all my login passwords. Is this normal.
thats what i get for buying used shit.

funny i have the same problem, just commented about it in another thread today.
i haven't had time to screw around with it much to figure out the issue.. i'm sure its no biggie.
haven't tried a permission fix yet.. give it a go.

(Sep 22 06, 16:37)nah its not this because i definitely erased and zero'd my disk.
i'm pretty sure its a permission thing because i have 3 user accounts setup and the safari keychain issues are only on 1.
hiatus if you figure it out come back and drop a msg here. i tried permissions fix tonight and still no go.

clear your keychain of any and all passwords
- acescence0
go to applications > utilities > keychain access.
under keychain access menu, select "keychain first aid"

Or great a new account and remove the old one after you configured it and all.
Offcourse assign admin rights to your new account.

what does it say (exactly)?
- acescence0
go to applications > utilities > keychain access.
under keychain access menu, select "keychain first aid"
acescence
(Sep 23 06, 05:34)or just deleting the "safari autofill" item from keychain access will also fix it.
