Anyone going to the myspace screenings tonight? It's happening in something like 25 cities. It's free...just bring a print out of your profile and make sure Borat is in your top 8.

cinco. monday when i got back from my trip i was having a light dinner with a good friend of mine. he goes 'omg dude... you ever heard of myspace?!? i have like 30 friends... all chicks in less than 2 weeks'
i just laughed and played it off like i didn't know. he seemed so happy to tell me about it. didn't want to ruin it for him.

Yeah...I had a myspace dorkiness episode last week. Had dinner with a friend I grew up with who was in town visiting. She still lives in Miami (where I'm from) and I'm in LA now. She kept bringing up people that we grew up with to tell me what they've been up to, and I kept saying "yeah, I know..." and "yeah, I saw..." and it's all thanks to myspace.
I just use it to figure out where my 2nd grade girlfriends are now. But 30 all chick friends? Sounds like a winner!
Back to Borat...anyone going?

My one friend in LA LA is going, and two friends in Philly are.
The one friend in Philly is a total donkey when it comes to MySpace and the like.
He has had in his info for like weeks, links to Borat stuff with the caption, "JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON NOW!!"
And he kept messaging me last nite about how awesome it is going to be, and I was agreeing but then finally was like, "You know that fucking character has been out for fucking years and this whole jump on the fucking band wagon has been making me sick to read everytime I've checked your fucking info you fucking donk n00b."
His response, was good, "Well ... to be honest, a lot of people still don't know about him."
Sigh.
Then finished it with something to the extent of, "Actually you're the loser if you are getting physically angry about reading something online just because you knew about it way before. So what you knew Super Greg back in the day and trapsed around town continuing the joke on unsuspecting people does that make you special or something?"
YES!!! YES IT DOES!!!
And, "to the extent of", I think he actually just went, "Get the sand out of your vagina."

As for Borat, I've been a fan of the whole Ali G craze since like 2002. And Borat has always been my fave (Bruno is second) so I'm pretty psyched for this. I just hope the line isn't crazy long when I get there. Unfortunately, going to see Borat isn't an exceptable excuse at work. Who knew.

Thanks, but I just realized there's no way I can get there by 9. Tonight's the first episode of America's Next Top Model, which my girlfriend will be watching, which ends at 9:00 p.m., which is important because I'll be watching and choosing which girl I'll spend the next two months or so fantasizing about.
