Anyone got an automator action to transform a multi layed psd file into an jpg file (same dimentions)?
I dont want to keep open those big ass psds to output an jpg.
Small apps also welcome.

You should be able to create an action and batch run it.
Oh and I agree, Small asses are always welcome! but they have to be grabable ya know... arrrrrrRRRR

there is a batch action that is prebuilt into photoshop. just pick your folder and run with it boyeeeee!

you're not *really* using photoshop until you start batch processing with actions.
incredible how much faster it processes commands when recorded as an action.

the problem with batch is Photoshop is opening the files and then save the jpg. I want an app that can do it without the open file waiting time.

Graphic Converter

If you use Image Ready you can save droplet icons that you just drag the files to be processed onto (not sure if Photoshop can also save droplets now).

I think Graphic converter is the app im looking for. thanx.

Somehow, I feel a little sad that Photoshop wasn't his answer.

actually it really is, at least Image Ready (which is sitting there neglected by most users), which is designed for this stuff...

Can't you do that in ACDSee?

If you have CS2, use the image processor in bridge.
