I really dig it w/ the current amount of animation - it keeps it from being distracting!
As previously mentioned, move your nav up... maybe even play with the type a bit more to make it feel "part" of the wood itself.

Nice site, but the navigation is a problem as people have pointed out.
Would benefit from relocating it further up the page.

I am on a 1280*800 laptop and have to scroll up and down for the nav and mp3 player. The nav is below the fold for me.

i know you've heard it before, but i didn't see it at first and clicked on everything that moved...
try it out up top or over to the left or something...

hm... that word-cloud made me think of a website i did once :)
http://www.borntogroove.nl/anyway. navigation is too tiny and at the wrong place. maybe at top or in the image itself like the 'cd for sale' button?
and put some more animation and eastereggs in the image. nice start.

Work on the nav. The site look is pertty nice, maybe rework the nav into it somehow. Like the one guy said, it has lots of interactive potential.

very nice concept but it took me a while to find the navigation. it's in a bad place at the bottom and the type is way to small and thin to notice. also, if someone has a small screen or low resolution the nav may get pushed off the bottom of the page and completely lost.
nice work though regardless. some nice animations going on and i like it's feel.

though i would like to see some shadows cast by the clouds/ birds, reckon it would help the puppetry feel, though i don't know flash so it might be a pain?

i am working on the nav now. don't know how much more animation i can manage at this point, seeing as the budget for this is miniscule (they're friends of mine) and i did all the actionscripting myself...which is not my forte...
Ideally if I could do it over again I would have made the dimensions different so that there could be more room for the content. However, there really isn't much content and only a couple of pages have to scroll. But oh well.
