Higher screen res on my imac

Hi all, I want to test my site in a higher screen res, looks craps on a mates screen. Anywhere, system preferences on my mac only allow me to set my monitor to a max of 1440px x 900 px. Anyway of overriding this with hiigher values?

i know theres a hack out there for macs to up your rez and run duals on imacs but i forgot the name.

what myobie said... exactly... ha.
do what i did. buy a 20 inch mac display to go with the pb/mbp. if you have the means... its so choice. pushing 1280x854 and 1680x1050 the only way to go.
