i would say that Batman Begins is the best thing to happen to the movie franchise since the Tim Buton films. I left with about 2 min left to miss the crowd leaving (it was getting all hollywood-kissy. so i left) So I slightly retract my statement as it was for the original 4. and scarecrow was always my favorite anyway...

I cannot figure out for the life of me what anyone's problem is with the new bond guy. He looks like an old school throwback to me. Perfect choice. It's weird to me to see that dumb movement that's going on to boycott that guy. Don't these people have anything more productive to do?

Cygnus I completely agree about the 'old school' comment. I'm not sure exactly what you meant, but the trailer makes Daniel seem a bit vintage. I can't explain it, but I like it.

the whole 'casino' aspect and the fact that Bond is the best card player they have kinda cracks me up... that's a new angle for Bond.

Coming out on the 17th! I think I may see it for my birthday. Either that or Happy Feet, hehe.
By the way, the girl is hairy, which means she's more realistic than previous Bond girls. Sweet:

I have a feeling that this one won't be very mediocre like the others I have seen (primarily with Pierce, whom I don't like as much as Daniel Craig). Instead, I'm hoping that it will be good, especially since the trailer looks great. Who knows though.

This might have been shot better and had a better plot and storyline than most Bond films, but I can only envision this dude as an Apartheid pushing Afrikaaner in 'Power of One' flick. Sorry, it doesn't sell me, he's been character set long ago as a villain. He's no hero.
