which one didja get? i recently got the 4x5 & am thinkin about upgradin...
- PonyBoy0
i have the 4 x5 and can't seem to get used to it...
... plus it's kind of annoying on duel monitors...
... it's cool when I get in photoshop and just want to sketch up some stuff... but it's still 'tough' to get used to... so most of the time my tablet collects dust. :(

Graphire 6x8 @ at the office.
It takes a little getting used to, but after a few days I'm pretty comfortable to it.
I also have it on dual monitors, and as long as you get used to using the light on the tablet as the demaraction between monitors it makes things easier.

Ponyboy, you need to get a bigger tablet to work on those duals. I find that the ratio of screen and tablet plays a big role in it's ease of use. A 6x8 goes well with a 21", a widescreen tablet should be used with widescreen monitor, and if you've got a dual monitor setup try a bigger tablet.

wacom is the shit.... but one of the worst inventions of all time has to be the wacom mouse... i mean you can move more with a wired mouse

ouch, yea, just read about that smaller tablet.
on the 6x8 it's easy to keep your perspective for dual monitors by using the activity light on the tablet as the demarcation point for your monitors.
As a side fanboy note, I used the thing during a 16 hour marathon day at work yesterday and I didn't have the dead wrist afterwards that usually comes with that much mouse work.....cue the masturbation jokes.

haha...yea. that mouse has sat to the side of my tablet while I get used to it. I envision it as a dust capture device in a drawer before long.
- HafDed0
yeah - initially the mouse was a bonus ~ but aft usin it on the smaller tablet its rather worthless. I need to upgrade!

I use the mouse to dust things off. It's perfect for getting the dust off my flatscreen TV.
