is chamonix any good pre christmas, (we are looking at december 10)
what areas should i be looking at to ride, given that we are both high intermediate riders (can handle most terrain, not too worried about park,as i have only done a bit and we dont ride pipe)
what other good areas are around geneva as this will probably be where we are flying in to most likely.
any help is greatly appreciated

Tip: Don't tell people in Europe you 'want to ride pipe'

Yo Greg, remember me bro? How long you been in rome? - Hey I went riding in Chamonix back in March - f**kin amazing! I heard Luke P is moving over here to London in April...

I have been in Chamonix around that time.
The snow was good but there was high avalanche risk on quite a few runs, and it took a number of days for them to blast it.
The issue I had with Chamonix was that it wasn;t a fully linked resort, so you ended up getting a bus in the morning and boarding only one area.
I still have a soft spot for Morzine/Avoriaz
I am also a pretty average boarder.

Yeah Morzine rules. I dont know anyone whos been there that doesnt agree its top notch. I'll be back there next season...
