Neil Peart is no where near the best rock drummer. No one cares about him accept other drummers. Sure he's fast and technically correct, but is that rock n' roll? No way. John Bonham and Keith Moon did more for rock drumming than that cannuck ever did. Besides, anyone who likes Rush probably buys Warcraft characters on eBay.

definitely a session guy, but he hung in with sting for a few tours, and his stuff with zappa on "shut up and play..." is some of the sickest sh*t i've ever heard -- much of that stuff was captured live, i believe (along with bozzio on that collection...)

A insane band all around, but I always believe a drummer is what make a band great. I mean in rock the great guitarists always have had great drummers behind them..and saying that, no one mentioned Alex Van Halen yet, have they?
