crop marks in illy

so does anyone know how to give multiple objects crop marks in illy?
i know you can do the Object / Crop Area / Make but that only does it for one.
any ideas beyond copying and pasting? there's gotta be a way..

you have to make your own, like in the old days. And if you are sending it to print, make sure you set the color at 100C - 100M - 100Y - 100K

or use the registration black in the swatch palette

can't you just select your shape -go to filter-create crop marks and hey presto? or am i missing the mark? (no pun intended, promise!)

plus, the filter is editable, e.g. you can change the stroke weight and color / etc.
