Ignore them, you have some nice stuff. (some is a little samey but that's easily solved). Nothing wrong with the site either. It's a portfolio site, does what it's supposed to.

I really hate the trend of this retro pre-1995 minimalistic design... especially when you are trying to sell yourself. So the site itself sucks and is a lovely example of bad design.
(and then to think that most who do this think it is cool because some 'community design star' did it as well)However, you do have some really nice stuff in your portfolio, though as stated by others, you do need to diversify more. Just keep doing the stuff you love, enough potential for growth.
And for uberdesigner, just set him to Ignore. He is a talentless troll, not worth a second of your attention.

how is that site 'bad design'? I don't get your reasoning for that statement, what would you prefer?
this site does everything it needs to do in a presentable, simple and communicative way. how on earth could that be bad design?

on the contrary, it does not communicate at all.
there is no client nor possible employer who will be hooked by its design, nor has it any remembrance value. Two key attributes that a portfolio site should do... you are selling yourself, and this one sells itself as much as a 1982 Lada.
