Unmixed/mastered.
Just be interested to hear what those of you who are into this kind of music think.

real nice man. good sound.
vocals could be bosted just a hair. had to really listen in some parts to figure out what was being said.
i like it though.
- lvl_130
oh man....you do not want to know what i think of them : )
nah, it's really bad as in good. sounds like something i would listen to to get pumped out to go ie. skate, bike, sb, etc.
sorta reminds me of this track that was on a volcom comp. back in like 1999. fucking sick track but can't remember who it was?!

Not my particularly cup of tea style wise, but sounds put together well.
I'll pass this on to some people I think would like it, to see what they'd say.

'Musictoday
for a more melodic tomorrow'I thought you were a Wham-man? :)
This isn't really my bag, but I do like the none thrashy bits.
Is this you?

shame about the singer's voice.
The bridge section suddenly gets disproportionately louder,
but overall pretty nice for the style of music. A bit simplistic for my taste but, I appreciate it as a musician should be able to learn something from any kind of music.
I like the what the drummer does on the hi-hats in the mini breakdown towards the end, infact the drums rock throughout.
nice!
- jevad0
Yeah it's unmixed/unmastered so things are a bit all over the place really.
What don't you like about my vocals?
- Baskerville0
oops, didn't realise it was you on vocals.
No, overall they're pretty tight. There are a few slightly flat notes around the place but nothing major. With the rest of the track sounding pretty solid, correcting those few notes could make a real difference.
nice job either way
- Baskerville0
"There are a few slightly flat notes around the place but nothing major."
please excuse this unintended musical pun.
- jevad0
HAhahah!
No it's cool - it's up here for a crit so don't be scared to say what you think.
I'm not entirely convinced that I don't want to go back and redo them all anyway....
Where do you hear the flat notes at?
Thanks!
- Baskerville0
the word "blame" at 1:20 seems pretty flat
But the word "stronger" at 2:26 is probably the most flat.
those times come from saving the mp3 and opening them in quicktime, so I don't know how accurate they are.
You have a good voice though, even the best singers will record some lines a little off.
It's just those guys employ a protools wizard to fix it all!
- jevad0
yeah you're right...there's a couple other places I noticed too...
We're recording on ProTools at our home studio and then taking it to a local studio to mix and master...but I think I might just fix those few places beforehand

ooh new band nic? solid

Tanks Kim!
Yeah - finally got round to making something happen after not playing for the past...almost 24 months! Madness....

hoorah!

pretty cool nic. it is a bit too guitary in some spots, based on the intro i was thinking it was gonna be a bit more electro. the song structure is a little unusual, but nothing wrong with that.
nice work mate

I learned my lesson when I gave a crit on the HKphotography site.

"it is a bit too guitary in some spots"

We're a rock band!
