pretty 3d, pretty boxy, pretty cool, but does it have a churchy feel?
if it needs to have it then go a different route.
if not, go with this.

Try to work a cruciform in there.
- ender790
thanks, swollenelbow.
it doesn't have to be churchy. they're trying to break away from that mold.
- ender790
lol, mimio

the d looks kind of funny lowercase .. why not just make it upper case and delete that little tail
- ender790
thanks, _salisae_ . i'll try that out.
- swollenelbow0
oh yes...ender, that's nicer, although i liked the d with a little bunny tail.
hee hee.

Surely 'god' is at least 4-D?
- _salisae_0
lol nairn
- ender790
thanks again, swollenelbow. i kinda like the little tail, too.
nairn, i'm sure God's way more than 4-d. but a logo for 1,000,000-d would be a bit clunky, don't you think? ;)
- Nairn0
you could argue that if 'god' is everywhere at everytime, he's beyond dimensionality - '0-d'.
That'd be just od, though.
- ender790
0-D would help make the logo more symmetrical, though. lol.

the fourth one, but you should riddle it with stigmata holes then your onto a winner and god will love it, don't you worry about it, god (Rand) is a close personal freind of mine.
- ender790
chossy, i'm pretty sure that's just a catholic thing, and i'm not catholic. so that saves me the time of starting a thread asking for stigmata hole vectors.
thanks though.
:)
- chossy0
lol :D

i like the attempt at creating a 3d 3d logo. i like the 5th design based on _salisae_'s ideas. try a little shading on the diamond shape at the bottom to create more of a 4d feel... be bewary, this may create even more ambiguity... because this reminds me of optical illusions based on perception ... perhaps making things more fuzzy than you may want... but otherwise samwise, i dig it. peace.

thanks, jaylarson.

*still waiting for a vector stigmata hole thread to start up

nice design.
but i have always felt that logo's for bands/artists are rather awkward.. i mean you don't see it on posters or anything. it makes it so corporate somehow..
my 2c. tho..
i may be out of the loop or from a different culture..
