I have a load of them at work and they all have firewire etc. ports at the back what the hell do people use them for?. I haven't found a single use yet?!!! anything I plug into them doesn't work or whatever.

Have you plugged the upstream USB connector on the display cable into a computer?

I fucking knew it so you plug the other wires hanging down into your tower then the ports in the back are just simply and extension of that. Christ what a mess cheers bud.
